Description
This large macro floral of a beautiful dahlia blossom was as exciting to paint as it is to view. The vibrant colors of yellows and reds allowed for multiple opportunities to create a back lighting effect and beautiful oranges. I enjoyed creating a series of 12 large Macro floral paintings, all 24" X 30" for a flower calendar. Roses, Tulips, Hydrangea, Orchids, Azaleas, Lilies, Peonies, Hibiscus, Magnolia and Gardenias were favorites to paint.
