'Patiently Waiting"' is part of a set of two paintings. I started out with one egret painting that a client wanted to purchase. I really loved it and wasn't looking to sell but she talked me into aelling. She wanted to surprise her husband for their anniversary with the painting. At the same time, unbeknownst to the wife, the husband calls and wants to buy her the painting as a surprise.. I looked at my husband and asked him "What should I do?" , He suggested I paint another egret and so the painting 'Out On A Limb"' was born.
It was such a big surprise they were able to present to one another a matching duo for their anniversary.
